A tribute to Static Major

If u know me, you know that i went to louisville in 2006 to sign to Smoke e.digglera label and to record an album including songs with Playa and Aaliyah composers. Playa was the trio of Static Major, Smoke and Black who are now part of the r&b group Dru Hill.

I’m blessed to have a song with Static called « Left U A Message ». When he passed in 2008 after his hit song « Lollipop » it was a real chock.

Since then, Drake sampled him and now the great Jack Harlow did it too.
