Traveling is the best thing i’ve done the past years living the life of a digital nomad. Miami, Bahamas, Naples, Andalusia, Bali, Sicily, Corsica, Nyc etc…I live close to Paris, and the problem here is the cold weather 8 months per year. I don’t have 5 weeks of vacations like the typical french employee, actually I don’t have any vacations since my customers need me to be connected all through the year. But I can work from anyplace. I just need the wifi. So I enjoy flying to sunny places whenever I can. Right now, I’m in front of the Alcazar, listening to Bob Marley “Waiting in vain” with a tasty caïpirinha at the EME hotel, a spot I love.
Skyscanner is my favorite app for flights tickets, and if you can book 5 or 6 months before the date, it’s always cheaper. I sometimes try Airbnb but when I want a pool and confort, I go on Booking to select a 4 star minimum hotel. I like to work from pools or just to read a book there. GetYourGuide app provides great ideas for visits or activities. Via Instagram, I try to find cultural places or rooftops using the geolocalisation search bar. I should be searching for pubs who need singers, but as for now I’m not looking for money. I’m just enjoying life !
